For Users Working on a Mobile Device (iOS or Android)

There are two primary methods: using TikTok’s native import features (if supported), or using a third-party video editing application.

Option 1: Using TikTok’s Built-In Sound Import

• Open the TikTok app and tap the “+” icon to begin a new video.s
• Record or upload your video content.
• Tap “Add Sound”, then navigate to the “Your Sounds” tab.
• Select “Import local sound” or “Import from video”, depending on your TikTok version.
• Choose the TTS audio file stored on your device, or a video containing that audio.
• Publish the video (you may select “Private” if testing).
• After publishing:
  - Tap the sound label associated with your video.
  - Rename the sound and tap “Add to Favourites” for future reuse.

Note: TikTok’s built-in import functionality is not universally available across all regions or app versions. If this option is unavailable, proceed with Option 2.

Option 2: Using a Third-Party Video Editing App

• Open a mobile video editor such as CapCut, InShot, or VN Editor.
• Import your video footage into the project.
• Select the Audio or Music option and choose “From device” (or similar).
• Locate and import your downloaded TTS audio file.
• Synchronise and trim the audio as needed.
• Export the final edited video (preferably in MP4 format).
• Open TikTok, tap “+”, and upload the video.
• TikTok will automatically treat the audio as an Original Sound.

For Users Working on a Desktop (Windows or macOS)

TikTok’s desktop platform does not currently allow direct audio uploads. Instead, users must edit and combine the audio and video on their computer, then transfer the final product to a mobile device for upload.

• Open a video editing application such as Shotcut, DaVinci Resolve, or Adobe Premiere Pro.
• Import both your video footage and your TTS-generated audio file.
• Place and align the audio within the timeline as needed.
• Export the completed video using a recommended format (e.g., MP4, H.264 codec, 720p or 1080p resolution).
• Transfer the video to your smartphone using AirDrop, USB, Google Drive, or another method.
• Open the TikTok mobile app and upload the video.

Once published, TikTok will automatically register the audio as an Original Sound, making it available for reuse in future content.
